Tim Brennan Lead Movie Critic
Tim has been alarmingly enthusiastic about movies ever since childhood. He grew up in Boulder and, foolishly, left Colorado to study Communications in Washington State. Making matters worse, he moved to Connecticut after meeting his too-good-for-him wife. Drawn by the Rockies and a mild climate, he triumphantly returned and settled down back in Boulder County. He's written numerous screenplays, loves hiking, and embarrassed himself in front of Samuel L. Jackson. True story.

Antonio is a sponsored cannabis athlete and the Co-Owner of Marijuana Fitness Nutrition, which encourages living a healthy and active lifestyle while promoting marijuana’s many benefits. A lifelong writer, with 15+ years of cannabis experience, he moved to Colorado in 2015, from Columbia, MO. It is here, in the incredible state of Colorado, where he’s found who he truly is. He earned his B.A. in Psychology at Columbia College while quickly climbing the ladder of bank management, before he and his wife decided to leave it all behind, to create more meaningful lives. He and his wife now advocate for their biggest passions, marijuana, fitness, and nutrition. Even when not advocating for the cause, Antonio spends his life orbiting around these three topics. If not in the gym, or enjoying Colorado’s many outdoor activities, he’s in the kitchen fueling organically for his next activity, all while consuming cannabis. On the rare chance you can catch him lounging, it will be on his plush couch, with his wife and two cats, watching Netflix through a veil of smoke.

Heather is a sponsored cannabis athlete, content producer, and the Co-Owner of Marijuana Fitness Nutrition at mjfitnut.com. Before becoming an athlete, and advocate for cannabis, she graduated from the University of Missouri, while working full time, and earning her B.A. in Personal Financial Planning. She continued her successful career, rising in the finance industry, only to leave it all behind in search for a life more meaningful. It wasn’t until she moved to Colorado, in 2015, when she discovered her true passions, marijuana, fitness, and nutrition. Heather now balances her time between managing her growing lifestyle brand, training for, and placing in athletic competitions, and producing some of the best CannaFitness content in the industry. This requires her to take on the titles of Photographer, Videographer, Director, Editor, Producer…, and the list goes on, but she still manages to enjoy time with her family. Although her adventurous spirit will always take her back out to run a trail, hike a mountain, or raft a river, she loves the peaceful moments at home, and cuddling with her husband, Antonio, and their two cats, Forest and Aspen.

Bianca Glinskas hails from sunny Southern California, where she studied English and Creative Writing at California State University of Long Beach. Her studies kindled her love for poetry by finally introducing her to the impressively ever-evolving contemporary poetry scene (a welcome break from studying the Romantics). Bianca's work has recently appeared in the first online issue of  Ordinary Madness and the Winter 2017 issue of  Glass Mountain Magazine; since her recent move to the area, Bianca is keen to jump headfirst into Denver's literary scene; she is confident that it burgeons in the footprints of significant literary figures who once walked its streets (such as John Fante, Jack Kerouac and others) who also found themselves compelled to answer the pulsing, bluesy call of Denver's Metropolis hearth. When she isn't reading or writing, Bianca enjoys doing yoga, playing viola, exploring the outdoors, drinking at breweries, and holing up in coffee shops for hours on end. For any inquiries regarding Bianca's coverage of Denver's literary scene, please do not hesitate to contact her directly at bglinskas@gmail.com.

All of these experiences give her the opportunity to view well-being from many different perspectives. Jessie Hanson lives and works in Denver and couldn't be happier about it. Like the best-possible kind of Jekyl-and-Hyde scenario, she splits her life between science and storytelling. During the day, she performs clinical diagnostics and messes around with test tubes. At night, she performs behind the mic as a standup comedienne, in the air as a circus aerialist, and in rhinestones as burlesque dancer. She begrudges the hyper-inflated cost of a decent pair of false eyelashes. When she's not on stage, she sweating it out as an endurance athlete in triathlons and marathons across the West. She begrudges the hyper-inflated cost of a decent pair of running shoes. She's thrilled to be on board with OnDenver and writing about science, comedy, circus, athletics, and general fun on the Front Range!

Stephanie is a road warrior, adventure seeker, and brand builder. She grew up in the mountains of Colorado and after spending nearly a decade between the PNW and the east coast, she’s proud to once again be calling Colorado home. Well, home for now. Stephanie recently bought an Airstream with the intention of living a more minimalistic and nomadic lifestyle. After logging over 20k miles in her car last year, chasing rock faces in the summer and powder days in the winter, she realized that life could be a hell of a lot simpler if she could carry her house with her on these adventures. In 2017, she started her own marketing agency, Sleigh Creative, to take control of her freedom. As a freelance creative director and brand strategist, she spends a lot of days playing and even more nights working. In all things, be it work or play, she seeks to inspire people to the life of never settling. Heather is a creative writing wizard, travel guru, Elite Yelper, personal blogger, and Spartan Sprint race finisher!  After living most of her life in rural New York State, Heather quit her career and moved cross-country to Denver looking for a new and urban lifestyle.  Although, she has traveled to over 20 foreign countries, she had never before lived in a city and her last home was outside a Hamlet with only one traffic light.  Heather now exists as a well-adapted LODO Denverite who considers herself an area expert.  Moving can spin you around and spit you out, but Heather's journey proves the joy of waking up with a new city as your playground and opening up a box of discovery every day.  She has overcome setbacks, dealt with being an out-of-towner and urbanized into an individual who can easily maneuver living in Denver with thoughtfulness and skill.

Tommy spent six and a half years in the Marine Corps as an infantry officer, holding numerous leadership positions and doing multiple combat deployments. Upon leaving the service, he worked with multiple nonprofits, helping wounded service members and veterans recover through cycling and triathlon. This work deeply resonated with him and led him to pursue a Master of Arts in sport psychology. Working in this capacity, Tommy embraces the wise words of Henry Ford, who once said, “If you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.” Henry Ford was talking about mindset. Mindset is everything. The way we think, the way we interpret sensory information, and our ability to thrive in complex environments are all determined by our mindset. It grounds our approach. It either helps us get where we want to go, or it is what is holding us back. With this understanding, Tommy works with athletes, performers, and business professionals, to hone their mindset, enabling them to find the results commensurate with their innate abilities. Tommy is an active endurance athlete residing in Boulder, and can be found on the roads, trails, and pools in the local area. https://www.mindsetelevated.com

Colin is a Denver Metro native and avid adventurer. Whether he’s climbing volcanoes in New Zealand or exploring Copper Mountain's glades on his snowboard, you can always expect two things from him, a camera in his hand and a willingness to stop and have a good conversation with just about anybody. Colin studied at 4 different colleges/universities in pursuit of his finance degree; however, he’s adamant that the most educational experience he ever went through was living in a van in a foreign country for half a year. That's where his career trajectory changed radically as he discovered his passion for environmental sustainability and photography. Colin is now a media consultant and digital content creator, hoping his work will inspire others to get out, explore the world, and find ways to minimize their impact on the environment. Alan Tapley is an educator, author, and blogger who has lived just outside of Boulder for the last twenty years.  His published work includes two novels, two children’s books, a series of cartoons in the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, and multiple sports related articles. His love for family and the state of Colorado is only matched by one thing, his passion for sports.  The first baseball game he ever attended was at Wrigley Field, before there were lights.  At the final Bronco game at the old Mile High, he allegedly cut out a piece of his seat in the South stands.  But regardless of being here for the Avalanche’s last Stanley Cup, the Rockies only World Series appearance, and all the Broncos’ Super Bowl Victories, his wife never fails to remind him that he wasn’t at the University of Colorado in 1990, like she was.  The year the Buffs football team won the National Championship
