Denver University

Located where the Great Plains meet the Rocky Mountains, we embody the spirit of exploration and discovery that defines our region and our history. The University of Denver is a private institution built on exploration through research and collaboration among educators, students, and local and global communities.

With nationally recognized academic programs, a history of widespread influence, a forward-looking vision for a 21st century education and a deep commitment to promoting inclusion, we open a world of opportunity to students and empower Pioneers to make a difference around the world.  A DU education takes you out of the classroom and into communities where you can learn by making an impact. Our academic programs incorporate real-world learning, connecting you with the professional environments you’ll strive toward after graduation.

Denver University is among the top 100 universities in the nation

  • 71% of our undergrads study abroad, 1400
  • Sudents from outside the US
  • 145 Countries are home to alumni

  • 6th fastest-growing metro area

Dining on campus

First- and second-year students live on campus and have meal plans for their first two years. It’s one of the most memorable parts of the DU experience. More than a place to sleep, residence halls provide the perfect setting for developing friendships and building communities with over meals at our three dining halls.

DU’s neighborhood is perfectly suited for walking and biking. The variety of nearby resources means you can often find what you need a brief walk from campus. We also have a thriving bike-share program and supporting services, including student bike mechanics, bike fix stations and even showers for bicycle commuters.  Denver has an excellent public transportation system that connects DU to the entire city. Of central importance is the light rail, which has a stop adjacent to campus. The light rail offers easy access to destinations all over Denver, from downtown to the airport and suburbs. Parking is available on campus for those who choose to bring their cars and car sharing options are offered.
