The Marijuana for Medical Professionals 2018 conference

The Marijuana for Medical Professionals 2018 conference in Denver started on Sunday morning, October 14th, wrapped up at the end of the day on Tuesday, October 16th, and it was incredible! I spent three packed days soaking up valuable cannabis education from physicians, nurses, and other leading experts in the industry. With the majority of these presentations being accredited for continuing medical and nursing education credits, it was one of the most comprehensive and informative conferences I’ve had the pleasure of attending. On top of learning so much, I’m very happy to report there was... Read More

Cannabis health benefits_coast to coast

My wife Heather and I just returned to our home in Colorado from Miami, Florida this week. We were speaking at the U.S. Cannabis Conference and Expo about epilepsy, and the benefits of cannabis for fitness. We’ve had the opportunity to speak several times in Colorado this year, but this was our first time educating on the East Coast! In April of this year we spoke about the benefits of hemp for athletes at the Terpenes and Testing Magazine World Conference, in San Jose, CA. Now that we’ve had the chance to speak in Florida, we’ve officially covered the U.S. coast to coast in our efforts to... Read More

Marie Litton

One of the women who have captivated the Colorado music scene since she was eight years old is Marie Litton. She began in music singing in her dad’s band at the state fairs. At 14, she picked up playing the guitar and from then decided that music was all she wanted to do. “I just wanna give the gift back of music. I’ve loved so many bands, you know, and music has always been my life. Now that I get to play it all the time, I just feel like it’s gift and people should use those gifts.” Marie said. Originally growing up in Pueblo, Marie sharpened her talents as a musician with her family... Read More

Frozen Dead Guy Days

March 3rd, 2018

March is the snowiest month of the year for Colorado. It’s also the month of one of the quirkiest, weirdest festivals in the country: Frozen Dead Guy Days. Next weekend marks the 17th year for the festival, which, if you don’t know, is in honor of a frozen dead man stored in a Tuff Shed in Nederland. What? Bred Morstol was born and raised in Norway. After he died in 1989, his grandson Trygve Bauge took the body to the United States in hopes of cryogenically freezing it because…why not? After a stint in California, the body wound up in Ned, where Trygve and his mother, Aud, attempted to build... Read More
