The Indo Expo is returning to Denver next weekend, where the cannabis industry’s premier trade show first started almost six years ago. Since then, they’ve expanded their show presentation to include San Francisco, California and Portland, Oregon; but Denver, Colorado is where it all began. This year, there will be 350+ exhibitors, showcasing hundreds of companies, brands, and product lines representing all areas of the cannabis industry. With an expectation of 10,000 attendees and a full lineup of educational seminars, workshops, and demonstrations, it can be a lot to navigate. This is why we’re bringing you the ins and outs of the Indo Expo now, so you’ll be ready for this incredible event next weekend.

Indo has an excellent selection of educators who will be presenting on everything from cultivation and nutrients to mergers and acquisitions. The Keynote Speaker this year is Dr. Sue Sisley, MD. Dr. Sisley is a world-renowned medical professional and cannabis researcher. She is currently the President of Scottsdale Research Institute and the Principal Investigator for the only FDA-approved randomized controlled trial in the world, examining safety and efficacy of whole plant cannabis in combat veterans with severe post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Be sure to catch Dr. Sisley’s presentation, Navigating barriers to cannabis research – a relentless crusade to study efficacy of dry bud, on Saturday, Jan 26th, in Hall A at 11:45pm.

Last year’s Indo Expo featured the Hemp Hallway, which was so successful it has grown into what is being called the Hemp Pavilion. It will be showcased at ‘The Plaza’, adjacent to the Indo Expo and will feature exhibits highlighting the industrial hemp industry, including two days of informative hemp seminars. In addition to the pavilion’s dedicated speaker stage and hemp specific booths, this is also where the highly anticipated GHC Hemp Awards will be held. Starting at 6:30pm on Saturday the 26th and going until 9:30pm, hemp business owners will have the chance to take home awards in several categories from Best Hemp Food, to Best Hemp Company! You need to register for this separately, and you don’t want to miss out on who’s the best of the best in hemp.

With so much to do and see, it can be difficult to accomplish it all at the Indo Expo, but it can be done! Here a few helpful links to make sure you experience everything this premier trade show has to offer. You can also join Green House Healthy’s Hempy New Year Vegan Dinner, the night before, on January 25th!
