Wasteland Hop, The Dollhouse Thieves, and Solsatellite at Lost Lake Lounge

November 16th, 2019

Lost Lake Lounge is a laid back, no frills bar on the beautiful and historic East Colfax Avenue. It’s a local favorite for good reason, and an awesome place to get a drink or see some live music. They host a variety of local and touring acts from pretty much every genre except karaoke. Next Friday, the 22nd, Lost Lake welcomes Wasteland Hop, The Dollhouse Thieves, and Solsatellite. All of these bands are made up of genre bending pioneers, bearded poets turned rappers, and musical magicians that play all of the instruments in Rockley’s and some of the ones they have to special order... Read More

Denver Hex Fest

August 31st, 2019

Hex Fest is Denver’s largest metal festival of the summer. September 6th and 7th, the musical onslaught hits Lost Lake Lounge, The Bluebird, and Goosetown Tavern. The massive lineup includes 30 brutal bands, plus tons of food, drinks, merch, and even artists on hand giving out free hex tattoos. You read that right: free tattoos. Hex Fest is way too big for one venue, so they’re going with a three-pronged approach. Lost Lake Lounge, The Bluebird, and Goosetown Tavern will split the bands ten apiece over the two days. Needless to say, this event brings in bands from all corners of the... Read More

Lost Lake Weekend Lineup

August 10th, 2019

Lost Lake Lounge is one of Denver’s most beloved local bars. For nearly a decade it’s been a prime spot to see up and coming bands from all styles and genres. The lake house decorum works surprisingly well for the Colfax dive. Its small stage and limited floor space create an intimate setting, and every show is a close encounter. Friday, August 16th, Lost Lake welcomes Tommy Freed and the Sound. Their music is smooth, melodic, and soulful. Their debut album, Come on Shining, has roots in the blues, but branches out to include some indie and pop influences. Singer/songwriter Tommy Freed... Read More

3 Weekend Shows at The Lost Lake Lounge

April 6th, 2019

Lost Lake Lounge is a bar and music venue on East Colfax (the one your mother warned you about).  Almost every night of the week they host local and touring bands from a variety of genres. It has the feel of a fishing lodge mixed with an underground venue. I saw a Rowdy Shadehouse show there a few years back and the band handed out brown paper bags full of glitter. This place is an awesome local hangout, and it has earned a special place in the hearts of many. Their lineup for next weekend is, as always, exploding with talent. Friday April 12th they’re hosting Whiskey Autumn’s CD release... Read More
