Since 1976, Robischon Gallery has been curating contemporary art exhibitions from regional, national, and international artists. Their shows encompass a wide range of styles, mediums, and themes. Their extensive artist list, built over more than four decades, includes many influential artists. Currently on display are four concurrent solo exhibitions from Debra Zlotsky, Ted Larsen, Jonathan Parker, and Scott Chamberlin. William Havu Gallery began in Aspen in 1973 and moved to its current location, 1040 Cherokee St. in Denver, in 1998. The gallery has become one of the city’s most well-known modern art galleries, showcasing a wide variety of emerging and established regional artists. Now on display are selected works from Sam Scott, Hank Saxe, and the late Werner Drewes. Sam Scott is painter and author based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The William Havu gallery has an extensive history and an artist list to match. Over the last 45 years they’ve represented hundreds of artists specializing in post modernism and abstraction. While they have hosted a number of notable emerging artists, the majority are fairly well established, mid-career professionals from Colorado and the Southwest.
