3-Day Road Trip Adventure:  Day 3–Pagosa Springs

November 16th, 2017

If you’re looking for a place for relaxation then Pagosa Springs is a great choice.  It is a small-quaint town with a lot of personality.  It’s about a 5-hour drive (one-way) from Denver with glorious scenic views along the way but only a 3-hour drive from Ouray, where I had started my journey to Pagosa Springs.  This was my last stop to my three day Colorado road trip and I was looking forward to a little pampering.   Things to Do: The Springs Resort and Spa (Hot Springs):  Enjoy their 18 hot springs pool with varying temperature degrees for just $26 (adults) and $14 (child). ... Read More

Ten Reasons We Hate Tom Brady

November 14th, 2017

Any hope of salvaging the Broncos season was erased within the first few minutes late Sunday night at Mile High. Denver rookie Isaiah McKenzie turned the ball over after failing to field a punt in what would end up being an atrocious night for the entire special teams unit. Tom Brady stepped on the field moments after to seal our fate. A lost game and a lost season is bad enough, but losing to New England and Tom Brady just compounds the pain. Here are ten reasons we hate Tom Brady. 1) Looks – With his perfect hair, white teeth, and chiseled face, Brady reminds us of every frat boy that ever... Read More

Cannabis Is Not A Partisan Issue

November 13th, 2017

The hot topic up at the bud bar this week did not involve the most fire strain of weed, nor was it about the best new edible on the shelf. It was not about what state would be going legal next or what concentrate process created the most potent dab. It was about a Gallup poll that showed marijuana legalization is currently supported by more Republicans than ever. Why should this surprise anyone? Marijuana is not mentioned in the Constitution and it is not mentioned in the Bible. Marijuana does not hurt or go against any of our cultural values. Marijuana has nothing to do with abortion and marijuana... Read More

Probably The World’s Greatest Detective

November 12th, 2017

We’re coming to the end of 2017, and not a moment too soon, says I. In terms of reasonable behavior, this year has been an absolute horror show. Previously respected actors, artists, and other public figures have been revealed to be degenerates. The citizens of Alabama are seriously considering voting for an alleged child molester. Our very own President literally cannot go more than a week without saying or doing something insulting, vulgar, stupid, or all of the above. It makes one yearn for a more sophisticated time, a time where manners, taste, and class weren’t in woefully short... Read More
