Fall is here, the air is crisp, and the leaves are changing quickly. This is the perfect time of year to plan a hike in Steamboat Springs. The one I highly suggest is Fish Creek Falls. Fish Creek Falls is only 4.4 miles outside town. It is actually a 283-foot waterfall in a state park. Because this is a state park be prepared to pay $5 per vehicle or bring your state park pass. Golden has a lot of offer when it comes to hiking and biking. I have already talked about the joys of hiking and biking North Table Mesa and the Apex. Today, I want to talk about yet another Golden gem, Mt Galbraith. It is directly across highway 93 from North Table Mesa. The parking lot is up Golden Gate Canyon, not far from Highway 93. One of my personal favorites is the Apex Park, which is made up of 8 trails creating 9.6 miles of adventure.
