Hotel Luna Mystica

Hotel Luna Mystica Down in New Mexico at the foot of Wheeler peak and right next to the Taos Mesa Brewery Mothership stands a little-known hotel…if you want to call it that.  Hotel Luna Mystica is what they call it and it is an amazing place dotted with restored vintage trailers, campsites, and even trailer hookups if you bring your own. Fish Creek Falls Hiking- Steamboat Springs

September 30th, 2017

Fall is here, the air is crisp, and the leaves are changing quickly. This is the perfect time of year to plan a hike in Steamboat Springs. The one I highly suggest is Fish Creek Falls. Fish Creek Falls is only 4.4 miles outside town. It is actually a 283-foot waterfall in a state park. Because this is a state park be prepared to pay $5 per vehicle or bring your state park pass. Once you park, you will have a few options for hikes- easy, moderate, hard. All hikes are dog friendly, which is great news for your furry friends. The lower falls are also handicap accessible! Fish Creek Falls Trail is... Read More

Hiking in Golden- Mt. Galbraith

August 18th, 2017

The trail leads you up the mountain to a beautiful loop. The loop itself is about 1.5 miles long and getting to the loop is about another 2 miles. Total you are looking at about a 5- 6 mile hike! Now, is a good time to emphasize hike. This trail does not allow... Read More

Apex Park Adventures

July 14th, 2017

Looking for a fun place to bike or hike this weekend? Look no further, I have the perfect place. Lookout Mountain in Golden offers a lot of unique hiking areas. One of my personal favorites is the Apex Park, which is made up of 8 trails creating 9.6 miles of adventure. The Apex Park offers breath-taking beauty, fresh mountain air, wildflowers, wildlife, and of course exercise! This area is well-known for its biking and hiking. It is considered moderate when it comes to difficulty. Hikers, feel free to roam freely on Bonanza, Grubstake Loop, Hardscrabble, Pick’N Sledge, Apex, Argos, Enchanted... Read More
