Colorado Experiences Near Denver

July 2nd, 2021

Colorado is an amazing state. While it may sound trite, there really is something to do for everyone. But you don’t have to go to the far corners of it to experience the best. Here are some Colorado must-do’s close to Denver. Relax in some Hot Springs How would you like to soak in natural hot springs in an underground cave? Indian Springs is just an hour west of Denver. While famous for the indoor pool, the lush botanic garden feels more like Hawaii than Colorado. For something a little more adventurous, opt for the lesser-known geo-thermal caves. The pools are carved into the rock and filled... Read More

Denver Named 10th Best City in the World for Travel

October 22nd, 2019

Lonely Planet has released its world-renowned travel list for 2020, and Denver placed in the top 10, one of only two U.S. cities to do so. Lonely Planet said about Denver, “Denver’s elevated position as one of the USA’s most charming boomtowns has reached new heights as the Mile High City enters its latest phase of growth, creative energy and damn good food. Construction cranes dot the mountain-studded horizon and empty lots turn into hip new hotels seemingly overnight, while new food halls such as Milk Market satisfy appetites with an eclectic mix of farm-to-table and international fare.... Read More

Travel like an MVP with High End Transportation

October 28th, 2017

When Heather and I flew out to Portland, OR for The 420 Games we had the experience of a lifetime. Heather took 2nd place in Oregon, and being our first time in Portland, we had a great adventure. As much fun as we had, the highlight of our trip was the ride to and from the airport with High End Transportation. We had the pleasure of riding in the Tesla. Our driver’s name was Toni, who drives the Tesla often enough to be nicknamed, Toni Tesla. She was so nice and friendly. Our conversation made the trip even better, and Toni really made us feel like we were riding with family. The ride was a... Read More

Faces of Denver – Juan Machense!

August 14th, 2017

Meet the Juan and only, Juan Machense. Juan was born in New York City where he lived all around the Queens and Long Island area. His family history runs deep in Colombia, so as a toddler, he moved down to Bogota and dwelled there for a couple of years. His Grandpa had a farm outside of the small town of Chiha, where he spend a good portion of his time at. After spending a smidge of his childhood in Colombia, he moved back to NYC where he stayed until he was 12 years old, in which his family packed up and moved down to Tampa, Florida – a city that seems to be quite the contrast to NYC. After... Read More

Midwestern Road Trip: Yes, Denver Isn’t the Only City With Good Beer!

August 13th, 2017

This past week I enjoyed my last week of summer traveling 800 miles to Branson, Missouri and back for our annual midwestern road trip and we made sure to stop at several hot spots along the way there and back. My husband and I braced ourselves for our first week long trip with long driving hours with our 8 month old daughter, and spacing out having a beer every few hours seemed to be the key to preventing all of us from losing our minds (pro-road trip with kids tip, btw). We were pretty darn close to hitting every brewery on our route, with the exception of a few Kansas City breweries... Read More

July 9th, 2017

Meet Tracy Walker, a traveling nurse or should I say a gypsy at heart who has recently made Colorado her new home!  She’s an Ohio native who discovered at an early age her love for travel and has made it her mission to visit as many countries as possible. Tracy has 33 countries already under her belt and her next destination in sight is Peru where she wishes to hike up to Machu Picchu, the famous ancient Inca ruins city, also a UNESCO world heritage site and also one of her top bucket list items. But traveling is not the only thing Tracy is very passionate about, she is also very passionate... Read More
