The Market at Larimer Square Shuts Down After 37 Years in Business

Restaurants are getting hit hard due to coronavirus restrictions, and even local favorites are not safe from failure. The Market announced that it will be permanently closing after 37 years as of this morning. The Market was not offering any curbside pickup or takeout during the outbreak, stating that they had too many employees and too many customers to feel safe operating. The Denver Chalk Art festival returns to Larimer Square June 1st and 2nd. For the last 17 years, the annual event has flooded the streets with extravagant murals worthy of any gallery. This massive undertaking involves more than 200 artists of all ages and backgrounds.
