The Week That Was: A Full Week of Sports in 600 Words

Shred fest is here with its inaugural and soon to be annual rail jam/beer fest/concert extravaganza. Presented by POW (Protect Our Winters), Shred Fest is a huge event to raise awareness and combat climate change, so we can all keep doing the winter activities we love. It’s also a great opportunity to enjoy some live music, sip a few beers, sample some food truck cuisine, and of course, there’s the rail jam. CSU Hoops – Time’s Up

The Colorado State University Men’s basketball program has a major problem.  Head coach Larry Eustachy and interim coach Steve Barnes were forced out for their treatment of players. The program finished with a record of 11-21 and their only internal candidate is a second-year assistant coach whose apex include three years as the head coach at Northwestern Kansas Technical College.
