After blowing a 17-3 lead to the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday, the Denver Broncos now sit at a pathetic 0-4.  Coincidentally, the Colorado Rockies ended their nightmare-of-a-baseball-season by defeating the Milwaukee Brewers to finish with a record of 71-91.  A baffling 20 games worse than the previous year. The Los Angeles Dodgers took care of business this past weekend with a series sweep over the Colorado Rockies. The Rockies were thoroughly outplayed as the Dodger bats dominated the young Colorado pitching staff. While some may look at the loss as a missed opportunity, the reality is that the Rockies may have played it just right. A series loss simply means that everyone keeps the status quo.
